Happy New Year! As we step into January and the start of a new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our professional growth and set fresh goals for the months ahead. Whether you are looking to expand your network, explore new opportunities or to strengthen existing relationships, the beginning of the year offers a unique chance to reset and reignite your career ambitions. Let’s make the most of 2025 and build meaningful connections that will support your success all year long.
Our Annual Meeting, held on November 6th at the Ironworker’s Banquet Hall in West Seneca, was a great success, with 174 attendees joining us to hear how we are Better Together. The event featured insightful presentations from Bill Armbruster, our Keynote Speaker on livable communities, and Andrea Koch from the Alzheimer’s Association who shared valuable information about Dementia friendly living.
In December, our Network with the Network event was hosted by Solstice Senior Living, where members enjoyed a festive Ugly Sweater theme and Cookie Contest. Congratulations to our winner Darryl Young from Solstice Senior Living. He took home the prize for his Holiday Lemon Curd Drops. And congratulations to Kelsey Sorge from Senior Helpers whose shark sweater beat out others in the competition for best ugliest sweater of the night.
Looking ahead to 2025, be sure to mark your calendars for several exciting events. Our first Network with the Network will be on January 23rd at Santora’s for a Happy Hour. In April, we’ll host our beloved Progressive Dinner, and in May, we will once again offer a Health Resource Fair.
I am thrilled to welcome our newest board members for 2025: Ryan Kozyra, Olivia Paulo-Lee Esq, and Laura Nightingale.
As a reminder, membership renewals are due January 31st. Please take a moment to review the benefits and pricing for each membership level on our website www.networkinaging.org. I encourage you to renew and invite others to join, as your continued support is vital to the strength and success of our organization.
Warm regards,
April Romanowski
